Dovyfx is the product label used by this website. This notice explains how the product handles personal information. For support or privacy questions, contact support@dovyfx.com.

What we collect

To create an account we collect your name and email address. If you register with email, your password is stored only as a one-way hash and is never readable by us or recoverable in its original form. If you continue with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, verified email address, name and profile image; Google never shares your password with us.

As you play we record your chip balance, your ledger of chip movements, your experience and level, and the rounds you have played. This information is what makes the game work: without it your balance could not persist between visits.

Our servers keep standard technical logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment details, because there is nothing on this site to buy. We do not ask for your postal address or telephone number. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not use profiling cookies.

Why we process it

To operate your account and the game, to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to understand in aggregate how the site is used so we know what to improve. Where we rely on consent, such as optional analytics, you may withdraw it at any time.

Legal basis

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), we rely on meaningful consent for the processing described here. Account operations are necessary to provide the service, security processing protects the product and its users, and optional analytics runs only with consent.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with service providers who host or operate the platform on our behalf, and only to the extent needed to do that work, or where we are legally required to disclose it. Google processes the authentication request when you choose Google sign-in. Where you have allowed statistics, Google Analytics processes usage data for us on that basis, which may involve transfer outside Canada; withdraw that consent and the sharing stops.

Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and we remove your personal information; the chip ledger and round history attached to it are deleted with it.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, request deletion, or object to processing. Account deletion is available directly in your account settings, which removes your data without needing to contact us. You may also email support@dovyfx.com or complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions are protected against cross-site request forgery, and traffic is served over TLS. Two-factor authentication is available in your account settings, and we recommend enabling one of them.

Children

Dovyfx is intended only for adults aged 19 or older in Canada who have reached the legal gambling age in their province or territory. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this notice changes materially we will update this page and revise the date above.
